Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Meta Ads Launcher (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application at meta-ads-launcher. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Meta Ads Launcher is an AI-assisted Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad creative generation and publishing tool built by ClawGTM. The Service scrapes a user-submitted website URL, generates image and video ad creatives, and — with your explicit permission — publishes paused campaigns to your connected Meta Business account.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Account information

  • Facebook profile basics (name, email, avatar, Facebook user ID) received through Facebook Login for Business when you sign in.
  • Meta access token issued by Facebook when you grant the Service permission to your Meta ad accounts and Pages. Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) before being stored.
  • Selected ad account and Page (Meta IDs, account name, currency, timezone) so the Service knows where to publish.

2.2 Content you submit

  • Website URLs you paste into the generator.
  • Brand profile extracted from those URLs (logo URL, color palette, product description, value propositions, target audience hints, brand tone).
  • Campaign settings you configure (objective, daily budget, targeting, campaign name).
  • Copilot prompts (text messages you send to the Creative Director agent inside the Studio).

2.3 Content we generate on your behalf

  • Image creatives produced by OpenAI GPT-Image-2 from your brand context.
  • Video creatives produced by ByteDance Seedance 2.0.
  • Generation metadata (prompts, model versions, aspect ratios, timestamps).

2.4 Usage + operational data

  • Server logs (IP address, user-agent, request timestamps, error traces) collected for security and debugging.
  • Meta ad performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, reach, CTR, CPC, CPM) periodically fetched from the Meta Insights API for campaigns you have published through the Service.

3. How we use data

  • To scrape your submitted URL and build a structured brand profile (via Firecrawl, with Jina Reader fallback).
  • To generate image and video ad creatives (via OpenAI GPT-Image-2 and ByteDance Seedance 2.0 routed through the Vercel AI Gateway).
  • To create paused Meta campaigns, ad sets, ad creatives, and ads on your behalf using the Meta Marketing API v25.
  • To fetch performance metrics for campaigns you have published, so they can appear in your dashboard.
  • To secure the Service (detect abuse, fix bugs, recover from errors).

We do not sell your data. We do not use your brand data or ad performance to train third-party models.

4. Third-party services

The Service relies on the following providers to deliver its functionality. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Meta / Facebook— authentication, ad publishing, insights. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
  • OpenAI (GPT-Image-2) — image generation.
  • ByteDance / Seedance 2.0 via Vercel AI Gateway — video generation.
  • Firecrawl and Jina Reader — website scraping.
  • Anthropic Claude Sonnet (via Vercel AI Gateway) — orchestration agent and brand extraction.
  • Vercel Blob — hosting of generated image and video creatives.
  • Supabase Postgres — primary database.
  • Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.

5. Data retention

  • Generated creatives and brand profilesare retained as long as your account is active so you can re-open projects and publish later. You can delete them individually from the studio sidebar.
  • Meta access tokens are retained only while your Meta connection is active. Disconnecting in Settings deletes the encrypted token immediately.
  • Server logs are retained for 30 days.

6. Your rights and choices

  • Disconnect Meta at any time from Settings. This deletes your stored token and linked ad account / Page selection.
  • Delete all your data. See our Data Deletion Instructions. We honor requests within 30 days.
  • Export your data. Email privacy@clawgtm.com and we will provide a machine-readable export within 30 days.
  • EU / UK / California residents: you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object. Use the contact email above.

7. Security

Meta access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Database connections use encrypted channels. Secrets are managed via environment variables and are never exposed to client-side code.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
